The official Uber website in St. Petersburg

I developed the official Uber website for its Saint Petersburg branch in Russia, targeted at attracting new drivers for this international ridesharing service.

Pavel SHUDNEV

For this project I was asked not only to design the site, but also to develop its structure and do the copywriting. For me it was an honor: I was working with Uber!

I came up with this attention grabber: “Do you want to earn up to 3.000 extra dollars a month?” (The approximate amount converted from the Russian rubles.) Since most people would have said yes, this phrase was placed on the first screen.

Next I explained how one could do it with Uber: one needed to have a driving licence, a car and three years of driving experience. To find out more, one had to fill in the form in the bottom of the site and send it. This was the purpose of the site: to generate leads.

The site also told about Uber (1.000.000 rides a day, 100.000 people using the service around the globe etc), its advantages (non-cash payments only, free work schedule, work in your own car), how much one could earn and how to become a driver at Uber.
