Discovery Russia logo (Australia)
In cooperation with my colleague from Riga (Latvia) we designed an original logo for the Australian travel agency Discovery Russia.
I was contacted by the Australian travel agency Discovery Russia (specializing in the tours to Russia) with a request to design the company logo and the corporate website.
In Australia Russia is still associated with the bears, so the selection of the symbol for the logo was obvious. The client wanted the bear to look kind and cheerful, and we did our best to fulfill this wish.
The logo design is flat and monochrome (only one colour is used). Therefore it can be in any colour that the customer likes and can be placed on any product type. The shape of the logo is simple, therefore it remains recognizable when scaling – even in a small size.
Since the Australian customer has its own yacht team that is used in the advertising purposes, we created a few mock-ups demonstrating how it might look with the logo we designed.
